CBP's 2026 ACE User Satisfaction Survey is open now and closing within days. The survey is voluntary and anonymous, and it asks ACE users about their satisfaction with the system's capabilities and user experience. Any member of the trade community who files, queries, or manages data through ACE is an appropriate respondent.

What CBP is asking for

According to CSMS # 69749802, CBP is soliciting feedback on user satisfaction with ACE, its capabilities, and the overall user experience. The survey is brief, voluntary, and anonymous. CBP issued the message as a reminder that only a few days remain to submit responses.

Who should respond

CBP directed the survey to all ACE trade community users. That includes importers managing entry filings and reconciliation accounts, licensed customs brokers submitting entries and protests, trade attorneys reviewing ACE records for litigation support, and compliance managers who run reports or monitor quota and AD/CVD flags inside ACE. If your organization touches ACE in any operational capacity, CBP wants your input.

Why participation matters for trade operations

ACE is the single system of record for virtually every U.S. import transaction, from entry summary filing to PGA message sets, quota monitoring, and drawback claims. Feature gaps, error-code ambiguities, and reporting limitations that the trade community experiences daily can only be systematically addressed if CBP hears about them. A high response rate, as CBP notes in the CSMS message, strengthens the agency's ability to prioritize ACE development and improvements that affect filers directly.

This is a low-effort, high-impact opportunity: the survey is anonymous, so individual companies or brokerages face no compliance risk by being candid about system pain points.
