What changed in ACE for Entry Type 13

Entry Type 13 is CBP's formal entry type for international mail shipments processed through ACE. CBP is making targeted changes to the Cargo Release Condition Codes that govern how ACE communicates filing status and errors to trade filers. These changes apply specifically to ET 13 processing and are slated to go live in the ACE Production environment on September 22, 2026.

Affected error codes and cargo release condition documents

According to CSMS #69763204, the following error code changes apply to Entry Type 13:

• Error code 334: Added. Filers and software vendors will need to handle this new condition code in downstream systems.
• Error code 325: Removed. Any existing logic, alerts, or automated responses keyed to code 325 for ET 13 transactions will need to be updated or retired before the deployment date.

Pre-deployment support call and implementation identifiers

CBP rescheduled the pre-deployment support call covering two related ACE implementations, as detailed in CSMS #69761151:
